Terms of Service

1. Introduction

 

Welcome to interiordesignconsultant.ae (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated from Level 3, Convention Tower, Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and our interior design consultancy services, including residential consulting, commercial design, technical design audits, and luxury procurement strategy.

 

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

 

2. Our Services

 

We provide professional interior design consultancy services, including but not limited to:

Strategic spatial planning and creative direction for residential and commercial properties; technical review and audit of architectural and design plans prepared by third parties; procurement guidance and sourcing of materials, finishes, and furnishings; and on-site advisory and oversight during construction or fit-out.

 

Our services are advisory and strategic in nature. We do not act as a general contractor, builder, architect of record, or supplier, and we do not perform construction, installation, or trade work ourselves.

 

3. Consultation and Engagement Process

 

Each engagement begins with an initial consultation to define scope, objectives, and timeline. The specific deliverables, fees, and timeline for any project will be set out in a separate proposal, quotation, or service agreement, which forms part of these Terms once accepted by both parties.

 

We reserve the right to accept or decline any engagement at our discretion.

 

4. Fees and Payment

 

Fees for our services will be communicated in advance via a quotation or proposal. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms, deposit requirements, and invoicing schedules will be specified in the relevant service agreement.

 

Late payments may result in suspension of services until outstanding amounts are settled. All fees are exclusive of applicable UAE VAT unless stated otherwise.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

 

To enable us to deliver our services effectively, the client agrees to provide accurate and timely information regarding the property, budget, preferences, and project requirements; obtain necessary approvals, permits, and authorizations from relevant authorities, landlords, or developers where required; and make timely decisions on recommendations to avoid project delays.

 

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information or approvals from the client.

 

6. Independence and No Conflict of Interest

 

We operate as an independent consultancy. We do not earn commissions, kickbacks, or hidden margins from contractors, suppliers, or products recommended during an engagement, unless explicitly disclosed and agreed with the client in advance.

 

7. Third-Party Contractors and Suppliers

 

While we may recommend, review, or liaise with contractors, suppliers, and tradespeople, we are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, workmanship, or conduct of any third party engaged directly by the client. Any contracts for construction, supply, or installation are between the client and the relevant third party, and the client is responsible for negotiating and managing those agreements.

 

8. Intellectual Property

 

All designs, concepts, drawings, specifications, reports, and materials produced by us during an engagement remain our intellectual property until full payment of all fees due has been received, at which point usage rights will be granted as specified in the relevant service agreement.

 

Our website content, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted under UAE law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of property value, or construction-related losses, arising from our advisory services.

 

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

 

Our services involve professional judgment and recommendations; we do not guarantee specific outcomes, including property valuation increases, project timelines achieved by third parties, or construction results delivered by other parties.

 

10. Site Visits and Safety

 

Where our services involve site visits, the client is responsible for ensuring the site is safe and accessible. We accept no liability for accidents, injuries, or damage occurring on-site that are not directly caused by our negligence.

 

11. Confidentiality

 

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary, financial, or personal information shared during the course of an engagement, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to perform the services (e.g., sharing specifications with suppliers).

 

12. Cancellation and Termination

 

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the notice period specified in the relevant service agreement. Fees for work completed up to the date of termination remain payable.

 

We reserve the right to terminate an engagement immediately if the client breaches these Terms, fails to make payment, or engages in conduct that is abusive, illegal, or unsafe.

 

13. Website Use

 

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with other users’ access.

 

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on this website but do not guarantee that all content, including portfolio descriptions and testimonials, is free of errors.

 

14. Privacy

 

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, including information submitted through our contact forms and consultation requests.

 

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable regulations of the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
